Set of 12 postcards with fresco designs, found in the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri in Thera or as it is usually called today Santorini.
The set also contains six woodcrayons. Akrotiri is one of the oldest settlements in the Aegean. It was buried under tons of ash when the volcano of Thera erupted around 1600 BC. Systematic excavations began in 1967 by Prof. Spyridon Marinatos and continue to this day by Prof. Christos Doumas.
